Hancock: SuperZero to a SuperHero!
In the beginning of the trailer, was it just me or did Hancock farted so he could launch himself to the sky? The stone bench he was sitting on was like getting a hit from an A-bomb! (lol, it looks like launching a rocket leaving massive destruction behind!) Saving the day and leaving behind massive destruction, that's his trademark!
At first, when I heard of the name "Hancock", I thought it was probably just another boring drama ( the name "Hancock" sounds like "John Hancock", the insurance company that haunted me during my childhood in the form of TV advertisement). After seeing the "Hancock" poster, I started to think otherwise. Maybe it's a story about skiing championship, since Will Smith is dressed up like skier in the poster. =P
The movie trailer proved everything I guess was wrong. Instead of playing the hero (Man In Black), the loving (The Pursuit of Happyness) and the matyr (I am Legend), he is playing the role of the anti-hero (WTH is an anti-hero? A hero that has no hero qualities, silly!). From the trailer, Hancock can be seen as a drunkard, someone who lacks dicipline in life and someone who doesn't give a damn about what people thinks of him. Because of that, everyone hates him! (but I kinda like him though since he fears no Kryptonite unlike the useless Superman)
I do find several lines in the trailer funny like the "I can smell that liquor on your breath", "Cause I've been drinkin' *#$%^!" and "Do I have the permission to touch your body? It's nothing sexual maybe on a different...". I'm sure it's going to have more funnier lines in the movie, ha!
From what I can see in the trailer, he did care about what people think (or why the heck would he do so many troublesome things) and all he wanted was to do things right (just that his loneliness of being one and only made him want to drown himself with liquor)! This movie would be GREAT in showing how a person can change his life if he is willing to put in effort. It would really be interesting to see how someone with a really bad reputation turn the tables and from a superzero to a superhero!

Hancock! After I seen the first trailor and I knew I had to go see this movie when it comes out, its everything that is wrong with comic book and movie super heros they don’t work in the real world physics. Hancock shows what would really happen to the things if you actually had the power of superman, you would destroy things like in this trailor when he stops the train if it was a superman the train would all stop on the tracks but with real world physics it would all crash like it dose in Hancock making him a man who doesn’t think of the consiquences of his actions and has become someone who has become very apethetic to the world!
I love it because it reminds me of my favorite cartoon character that every time he helps someone his phrase is “it never hurts to help” and that’s when he either gets hurt doing the job or someone else gets hurt and he gets the blame!
To every action there is an opposite reaction, or no good deed goes unpunished!
how can a superhero not have an underwear on the outside? haha!
He looks funny in the leather suit ya know, can't he wear something like the dark knight, batman? looks sexier!
I was getting a laugh out of what I just noticed in the pictures you had posted on Hancock when he was in his bum outfit on his tuk there is an eagle, and then on the back of his leather outfit the eagle shows up again. The emblem is the Harley motorcycle Eagle, maybe more bling bling is called for to set off his outfit!
