Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Review (minor spoilers)

I got a chance to watch this show with a friend out of a spontaneous decision. I still remember when I was young, Indiana Jones was one of my favourite shows besides Star Wars. It's like the first of it's kind during the 80's and I never get bored watching those sequels till this very day. Remember that part in "Last Crusade", where Indie had to walk on a platform of puzzles? One single wrong step would made him fell down the cliff, that was thrilling and memorable! Right now there's more competition even a copycat version of Indiana Jones, National Treasure (which is still quite okay I would say despite the similaritiess).

Let's get back to the topic. I would say Indie isn't as energetic as he was. I guess actions deteriorate with age, haha. It's like the show Rambo 4 (what happened to those cool arrows with explosion?), Stallone couldn't really provide as much action as he did in the past sequels the same as Ford. Their movements are sluggish making the fighting scenes boring like hell!

The story line was so-so, talking bout aliens and so on. The thing that lack in the movie is the bad guys, the lady and the soldiers from soviet union ain't that cool at all! It's not like the sequel "Temple of Doom", where the bad guy was actual awesome enough to extract a person's heart from his chest. The ending sort of suck, having the skull returned would grant you any wish you wanted, however the wish would eventually disintegrate you....the thing that happened to the lady in the end. Then the aliens were like saying "Hallelujah, Baby!" see you in the next life to indie and friends!

As for the acting (which is the only good thing), the show was entertaining as in funny. The things they say, the things they do, it's all hilarious! It's probably a show you can bring kids to watch (not for the action or story, more like for the fun of it). Imagine the kid (yea, the guy from tranformers) having his hairstyle comb like the monkeys of amazons, with that hair he managed to persuade the monkeys to atttack the bad guys with him.

Overall, it's worth watching the show just for the name "Indiana Jones", bring back the good times of childhood for me =P
