Movie Likes & Dislikes: Wanted

This story is about a guy named Wes. He hates his job (boring accounting job), he hates his boss (a fierce tigress) and he hates his bestfriend (cause he is having an affair with his girlfriend). One day, while he was getting his medication (stress relief tablets) from the pharmacist, Fox(Angelina Jolie). She told him that his long missing father which was the best assassin in the organization was killed yesterday by the 2nd best assassin (Cross) and he is next on the assasination list. Fox saved Wes from the Cross and brought him to the assassin's organization, The Fraternity. After some consideration, Wes decided to join them and trained up to be the best assassin to avenge his father. As the story develops, Wes unfolds a conspiracy within the organization...

There are 3 things that I liked about the show:

1) The Banana Shot: Okay, in the show it wasn't called "The Banana Shot", it was nameless. Those assassins were able to shoot a curve shot with their guns, it's basically like the bullet version of banana kick. Watch this video and compare it with the trailer, you will get what I mean.

2) The Healing Spa: In the movie, whenever somebody gets shot, gets cut or gets whatever kind of injury, all they need to do is throw them into a bath tub filled with some healing water (looks like wax on the surface). After a few hours of spa, the injured will be as good as new. Instead of healing for days, you can heal within ours in the healing spa.

3) Killing Styles: There were quite a few interesintg killing styles I like, but I only want to elaborate on one. In the beginning, there was this Indian lady who was about to get assassinated and you know Indian ladies usually have red dots on their forehead. What the assassin did was actually aiming the infrared on that red dot which would ideally conceal it due to the similarity in colors. Interesting!

Dislikes:

I have 2 dislikes for this movie:

1) The story is very similar to matrix which makes it like a copycat. Like bullets kissing bullets, slow motion and etc. There's also the jumping from one building to another building scene (remember Trinity jumped off the building to escape from the agents?), if you have forgotten, here it is!

2) The 2nd thing I don't like about the movie was it's conspiracy. The whole thing reminds me of StarWars, when Cross reveald himself as Wes' true father. Wes was used by the Fraternity to eliminate his own father because they knew that a father would never kill his own son. Watch this video anyway just for the fun of it!

Anyway, I'll still consider this show as worth watching. With all the actions, the slow motions and Angelina's backside! =P
